Swiss Mountain Summer for Families

If you are planning a family holiday, then the Engadin with its diverse landscapes will be the very thing for you. The range of activities in both summer and winter is extensive and offers interesting things to do for young and old – but don't take our word for it, experience them yourself!

Two particularly family-friendly walking trails await you on Corviglia: Heidi's flower trail and the Schellen Ursli path. There's lots of fun for our young visitors and a magnificent Alpine panorama in any direction you care to look! The beautiful Lej Alv natural reservoir is also easy to reach with a children's push chair.

And if the children are still not tired after their walk, they can let off steam in the Marguns children's playground, while the pizzaiolo in the Chadafö restaurant prepares fresh pizzas in the wood-burning oven. While you are here, why not combine your descent from Marguns to Celerina with bundles of fun on a downhill scooter?

Even young visitors to Muottas Muragl will come away fully satisfied. Whilst their parents can relax on the panorama terrace and indulge in whatever treats they fancy, the children certainly won't become bored on the playground behind the hotel. This also remains open throughout winter. On an adjoining walk on the panoramic path to Pontresina, young and old can keep a lookout for the numerous marmots and ibex who have their natural habitat here.

Even the mountain bike flow trails will be a lot of fun for children who are already a somewhat experienced. To get prepared, it makes a lot of sense to hone the skills of all ages on the pump track at the bottom station of the Signalbahn cableway.

The play paradise on Marguns with giant swing, tunnel slide, climbing frame and a bouncy castle provides action for the children. While the kids have fun on the playground, the parents relax with a cool drink on the sun terrace of the Restaurant Chadafö.

Muottas Muragl is also the ideal excursion mountain for families. While the parents relax on the panorama terrace and let their thoughts wander, the children will certainly not be bored on the new playground behind the hotel: Nestled at 2456 meters and surrounded by alpine meadows is the new children's playground Muottas Muragl. The kids can look forward to an exciting climbing tower complete with rope bridge and slides, a swing combination and other play opportunities - all made of particularly robust, weatherproof and natural robinia wood. After the playground fun, young and old can look out for the numerous marmots and ibexes on the hike in the direction of Pontresina.
