Diavolezza (the she-devil) the high-alpine mountain adventure in the perennial ice and snow.
A warm welcome to all our climbing fanatics, hiking enthusiasts and glacier fans here in the ‘grand hall of the Alps’ at 3000 metres above sea level. We invite you to enjoy one of the most beautiful views anywhere in Switzerland’s eastern Alps here at the Berghaus Diavolezza and its dazzling display of snow and ice all year around. The Bernina Massif opposite the Diavolezza dominates the scenery with eight summits soaring above 4000 m. It’s a feast for the eyes for lovers of nature and an El Dorado for climbers and high-alpine hikers. Alongside the undisputed top destinations of Piz Palü and Piz Bernina there are other ways of experiencing this high mountain range: glacier trekking across the tongues of the Pers and Morteratsch firn fields; on the 500 steps of the Piz Trovat via ferrata; savouring tasty food on the sun terrace of the Berghaus; or indulging in a spot of spa time in Europe’s highest whirlpool. On the new viewing platform you can even enjoy a ‘floating experience’ of the glacier.
