Art mountain Muottas Muragl

Experiencing art in the Engadin.

The short circular trail Senda d’Inspiraziun above the Romantik Hotel is a perfect spot to experience just how moving art can be. Along the trail you’ll discover a droplet made of natural stone, mortar, and a white marble coating by Timo Lindner, symbolising the entire universe of water. A section of railway track has also been set up to tell the story of the pioneering achievements of Graubünden’s first panoramic train for tourists. Sine Sole Sileo (Latin for ‘without sun I am silenced’) by Fred Bangerter is the world’s most precise sundial, accurately telling the time to within 10 seconds.
