Downhill Scooter: Here's How It Works

  1. Take the Gondola to Marguns
    The gondola takes you comfortably from Celerina up to the Marguns mountain station—the starting point of your downhill adventure.
  2. Purchase a Ticket & Leave a Deposit
    Purchase your ticket at the ticket office at the Celerina mountain station and leave a deposit (e.g., an ID card).
  3. Pick Up Your Scooter
    At the mountain station, one of our staff members will provide you with your downhill scooter. After a brief orientation, you’re ready to go.
  4. Enjoy the Ride
    The approximately 35-minute, signposted route leads from Marguns past Alp Saluver along varied gravel paths and through shady forests all the way down to Celerina. Along the way, you’ll enjoy magnificent views of the Engadine mountains and plenty of riding fun for all ages. Your security deposit will be transported to the ticket office at the Celerina valley station during your descent.
  5. Returning the Scooter
    Upon arrival at the Celerina valley station, please return your downhill scooter to the ticket office.
  6. Refund of the Deposit
    You will receive your deposit back at the ticket office. If you purchased your ticket at the mountain station, you can conveniently pay the rental fee when you return the scooter.
