The sunrise in the Engadin is exceptionally beautiful. With the Piz Nair Sunrise it is possible to witness this amazing spectacle at over 3000 metres above sea level in both winter and summer.
Reach the summit of the Piz Nair at dawn by taking the mountain railways outside of the official operating hours. Enjoy a spectacular sunrise and a rich breakfast buffet in the Restaurant Piz Nair 10000 feet.
Be the first to carve your lines in the slopes or continue to enjoy a relaxed morning on top of the mountain, later returning to the valley by cable car. The Piz Nair Sunrise is open to everyone, whether pedestrians or winter sports enthusiasts. A valid mountain railway ticket and prior booking are required. Annual tickets, multiple-day tickets and the sleep&ski-ticket are valid for the Piz Nair Sunrise Winter event.
The participants have to own a valid ticket for the transportation up on Piz Nair. This can be purchased in the webshop or at a ticket counter of the Upper Engadin cable cars during official opening hours. Should there be a cancellation at short notice, the mountain railway ticket purchased for this purpose will not be refunded.
Meeting point is at the valley station of the funicular in St. Moritz Dorf.
Those arriving by car and parking in the Quadrellas car park can exchange their parking ticket for a day parking ticket at the Piz Nair restaurant at a special price of CHF 20.
