Three, two, one, go! The Ski Run on Corviglia will get skiers’ and snowboarders’ adrenaline pumping. On the 400-meter-long, permanently marked giant slalom course, light barriers measure the racing times down to 1/100th of a second.
How it works
Fully automatic cameras are located at the edge of the course and record your race for the new best time from start to finish.
An original Ski World Cup start house positioned right at the start of the run creates a competitive atmosphere.
A display informs you of the current best time of the day which you can try and beat.
As soon as you pass the light barrier, you activate the timing system.
After around 12 gates, you steer the last few metres towards the finish in a crouched position.
