The Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG with its unique history, is one of the most prestigious providers of mountain experiences, a main economic pillar of the Engadin and the proud operator of two unique and individual mountain worlds.

Engadin St. Moritz is the oldest tourist ski region in the world, with its origins dating all the way back to 1864 with the launch of winter tourism by Johannes Badrutt. With its very special history and tradition, St. Moritz has a unique sporting legacy, having hosted two Winter Olympics and five World Ski Championships. Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG is aware of the great importance of this legacy and, as a company, is determined to carry the prestigious history into the future through the entire corporate
structure and culture.

On the Corviglia and Muottas Muragl mountains, as well as in the two hotels belonging to the company (ALL IN ONE HOTEL INN LODGE and Romantik Hotel Muottas Muragl), there are around 200 employees working for Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG all year round; a total of 460 people are employed during the winter season and during the summer season a total of 210 staff members contribute to the company’s welfare. The wide range of jobs include industries such as engineering, ski slope maintenance, ski patrol, restaurant and hotel, as well as administrative jobs such as marketing, accounting and contracting. Due to the size and diversity of employment, Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG represents one of the main economic pillars of the Engadin.

Important Information

All hiking trails and bike routes in the Val Suvretta are closed, due to the increased risk of rockfall. There is an alternative route for the "Suvretta Loop" mountain bike route via Fuorcla Schlattain. The Foppettas Trail is open and can be reached via Via Puzzainas.
